Product Manager (m/f)

We are looking for a strategic and technically minded Product Manager to lead the development of cutting-edge Infrastructure Solutions tailored to the data center industry. This role offers the opportunity to shape market-driven, prefabricated solutions by aligning customer insights with product innovation and cross-functional collaboration. Position summary: - Contributes to defining Infrastructure Solutions product / solutions roadmap by consolidating global Voice of Customer data to define market solutions primarily oriented, but not limited, to data center industry - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure offering meets market needs - Defines product / solution requirements - Establishes and communicates benchmarks for competitive landscape to Product Management team - Identifies value proposition by customer type - Support Product line managers, Solution architects and Application engineers with solution proposals and technical studies - Infrastructure Solutions are complex products or solutions mostly related to prefabricated units which consists of Uninterruptible power, power distribution, cooling and white space infrastructure Responsibilities: - Subject Matter Expert on Data center Infrastructure Solutions for executive, marketing, and sales teams - Analyze Voice of Customer and provide intelligent and effective ideas, proposals or solutions - Analyze cost and propose improvements - Analyze competitor products, documenting strengths, and deficiencies in core functionality - Gather information and analyze new trends and technology - Gather and consolidate market intelligence by interfacing with Sales team and Solution Architects - Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement new technology in Infrastructure Solutions offering - Responsible for Sales enablement documentation and tools: data sheets, brochures, presentations, product selectors and configurators - Perform and maintain patent reviews for new offerings. Document data and provide details while interfacing with legal team - Work with Product Marketing team on creation of White Papers, Application Notes, Case Studies, and Articles - Work with Product Marketing team on promotional materials: videos, models - Provide on-site critical customer consultations when required - Interface with other Vertiv product and engineering teams to coordinate integration with other hardware and/or software solutions - Provide trainings

Qualifications - Graduated Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) plus 5 years relevant industry experience - Strong knowledge of relevant customer segments - Technical expertise to translate customer needs/pain points to solutions - Strong written/oral communication, especially in communicating customer needs and value propositions - Effectively communicates technical information and complex ideas to technically diverse audiences - Strong research and analytical skills - Advanced knowledge in MS Office applications with specific emphasis on Excel, Intermediate knowledge of AutoCad - Informative knowledge about of BIM and CFD tools - Please note minimum and preferred requirements for education; This includes degree, specializations and certifications The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.
