We are looking for a proactive individual to fill in the following position: Senior/Medior Full Stack Developer. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Angular and Java / NodeJS development (Microservices) and will be working on developing and maintaining the Webshop and MyProximus applications for our customers.
Your Responsibilities
- You will support the design and development of high-quality backend applications following best practices to ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience.
- You will develop and maintain high-quality and well documented RESTful APIs using Java and NodeJS.
- Write both unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for daily tasks.
- You will will develop and maintain Angular web applications.
- You will will participate in the release process, ensuring smooth deployments.
- You will will collaborate with the team in technical analysis and grooming sessions.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure a high uptime and good performance.
- Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient complex solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all code changes and updates.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies and suggest new approaches to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate and contribute to the integration testing of the developed features.

Your Profile
- You have bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- You have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with building performant RESTful APIs in Java and NodeJS (experience with GraphQL is a plus).
- You have 2 - 3 years hands-on experience in Frontend development using Angular. You have good knowledge and experience in HTML, CSS.
- You have 2 to 3+ years of experience in SQL and non-SQL stores (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, Couchbase, etc.)
- You have strong conceptual knowledge in OOPS, Core Java, Collections, and Multithreading.
- You have experience with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins and Agile/DevOps methodologies.
- You are familiar with automated unit test frameworks like Junit and Mockito.
- You have experience with building tools like Maven or Gradle.
- You have experience with Microservices Architecture.
- You have a good understanding of Agile methodology.
- You can work autonomously on development tasks and troubleshooting.
- You have a proactive attitude with excellent interpersonal, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
