Thermal Engineer (m/f)

Apply today and join our Project Engineering team as a Thermal / HVAC Engineer. What you'll do? As a team player, your responsibilities include: Design and Documentation: - Collaborate with the design team to develop construction documentation (CD) sets - Prepare bill of quantities for module equipping and manufacturing documentation - Review design content and constructability, providing feedback to the design team Material and Manufacturing: - Order installation materials and specify the Bill of Material and services required for project execution - Coordinate with material and service suppliers during project execution Engineering Support: - Provide engineering supervision and support during module equipping in our factory in Rugvica - Offer engineering support to service teams and subcontractors Project Management: - Collaborate with the company operations team (project management, quality control, manufacturing, testing team, and construction) to define project deployment strategies and execute projects - Manage construction administration activities, including As-Built Documentation, Installation Manuals, FAT (factory acceptance testing) procedures, and assisting with punch list items Continuous Improvement: - Work with local service Helpdesk to enhance the final product - Improve project implementation by collaborating with local service teams and handling multiple parallel projects

Qualifications needed: - Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Process and Energy Engineering, Thermotechnics, Modeling and Simulations) - Experience: Minimum 1 year in a similar role - Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows and MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point); AutoCAD required, Revit prefered - Language: English (Independent user, B2 level) The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.
